I have a Strong interest in Landscape, Wedding, Event Photography and Portrait photography, as well as taking pictures to enter them in gallery shows and competions. I love captuing "special moments" in life for everyone to remember. Whether it be for wedding, recital, bike races, parties or a local band show. Each day is a "moment to remember."

I am a 32 year old female who has been taking pictures since I was about eight years old. I always had a camera of some kind attached to my wrist.
If you were to look at my photography collection, you would see that I have boxes and boxes and boxes of pictures...many photo albums/ scapbooks...and now thousands and thousands of pictures downloaded onto my laptop and on several different sites...
I have since upgraded from film point and shoots and digital point and shoots to having both Digital and Film SLR Cameras...
I can't remember all of the cameras I have had over my lifetime, but my digital experience started with a gateway point and shoot, moving to a kodak easy share, and now I own a Nikon D70s. I also have a film SLR (Nikon N80).
I took a workshop at The Washington School of Photography in early spring 2006. At that time I used my friend's Nikon F10. I learned all about apperture, shutter speed, metering and focusing...What a feat it was using an all manual camera. :-) But I learned a lot!!!!
I enrolled in a year long diploma program at The Washington School of Photography and graduated with Special in the fall of 2007. Through the program I increased my skills as a photographer and built my portfolio, which can be seen below. I learned skills not only in photography, but in the business of photography, as well as editing of photography as well.
Outside of Photography:
I am a Foster Care/ Adoption Social Worker with Arlington County. I love dancing, listening to music and being in the outdoors. I also love sports....watching not necessarily playing...(GO HOKIES!!!)
